Where can I change my personal/invoice data?

Sign in to the  Customer Centre ACTIVE 24 and select the first item “Information about the user” in the menu. Your data can be changed by clicking on “Edit”.

What is an accredited reqirement and what is it for?

ACTIVE 24 cares about the security of your data. The accredited reqirement is a message sent from your Customer Centre. The moment we receive such a message, we are absolutely sure about the identity of the person we are dealing with. We are free to provide this person with as much information as possible. Your accredited reqirement can be found directly in the menu after you have signed in to the Customer Centre.

How to contact the Help Desk most effectively?

The best way how to contact our operators is to send an accredited reqirement to the Customer Centre ACTIVE 24. As soon as you do so, you are certified and we are ready to do for you as much as we can. If you have any general inquiries, you can send your e-mail to helpdesk@active24.cz or contact as live. However, you should be aware that the unaccredited reqirement regarding any already running product or service cannot be pursued without authorization with reference to the security of your data. Because of this reason, please do use the accredited reqirement.

What is the difference between the operating systems Windows and Linux?

UNIX / Linux: support of PHP or CGI scripts, support of MySQL and PostgreSQL database.
Windows: support of ASPX (ASP) scripts, support of MSSQL.

I have a PC with the Windows XP / Vista. Can I order your service package supported by the Linux?

Yes, you can. The operating system of your webhosting defines the device where the space for your data will be created and which scripts it will support.

The operating system of your virtual server should be chosen according to the needs of your presentation and not according to the operating system in your PC. If you are not sure about the operating system that would suit you best, you can use this chart to help you:

How can I get FTP (File Transfer Protocol) for my virtual server?

You can obtain FTP by the e-mail that will be sent to you after the establishment of the virtual server. If you need to find it out in the future, follow the below-mentioned procedure. (NOTICE that the procedure differs according to the operating system of your server):

The UNIX / Linux Operating Systems
You can receive your FTP access in the Customer Centre ACTIVE 24, After you have signed in, select Virtual servers in the menu, then click on the icon Detaily (the icon with glasses) belonging to the particular server. The part about FTP can be found in the “Detailed Settings” at the left bottom of the screen – there is the username on the left side and on the left one, there is the option of changing the password. The name of the host is still www.vasedomena.xy.

Windows:
To get the access to your FTP, it is necessary to send an accredited reqirement to the Customer Centre ACTIVE 24. FTP will be sent forthwith as a reply to this request. (within 24 hours)

I want to publish web pages in the Internet. How should I start and what everything do I need?

You need three things to publish your presentation in the Internet. Presentation (web pages) of the web page (this is probably alright). Then, from ACTIVE 24, a domain (domain name, like for example www.active24.cz) and some space for your data – webhosting. Both can be easily order at our pages.

How can I change the range of ordered services?

Any change of ordered services including adding a new one can be pursued by the accredited reqirement that you send to the Customer Centre ACTIVE 24. In case you want to order a new domain or new webhosting for the new domain, continue with your order at http://domains.cz/en/webhosting/ and in the course of ordering, sing in with your username and password. The new order will be automatically assigned to your account and you will be able to see administration of the services in your Customer.

Which tools do you offer for administration of your products?

What types of payments do you accept?

For the quickest payment, use E-banku ((as we have the account in this bank too, your payment can be appended in 5 minutes and therefore your services immediately activated). If you do not have an account in E-banka, scan and send or fax the copy of your charging order. Moreover, you can use MasterCard or Visa (Notice, that your credit card must be unblocked for e-payments, so called 3D payment). We do not recommend using a postal order as it is very slow type of payment. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH OR CHECKS.

How will I receive a tax document? By when?

In 14 days from the date we receive the payment. You can find it in the Customer centre, ACTIVE 24, 24 hours after its drawing. You can follow the state of your service there, as well as the process of its invoicing .pdf attachment includes all the necessary appurtenances of tax documents as well. It is possible to print it.
The payment call itself IS NOT the tax document, which means that in terms of accounting, it cannot be accepted. The call serves as a sumary and guideline for the payment of order services. Our system works in this way: order – payment call – PAYMENT – invoicing – activation of services – tax document. It is impossible to draw an INVOICE – a TAX DOCUMENT before the payment. You should pay on the basis of payment call (no other documents are drawn).
