About ACTIVE 24

ACTIVE 24 started to provide its services in 1996 as the association “Globe” that was transformed into a limited liability company – GLOBE INTERNET in 1997. ACTIVE 24, a significant European company, joined the GLOBE INTERNET in June 2004.
In December 2004, the whole company was renamed to ACTIVE 24.
Nowadays, the Czech subsidiary of ACTIVE 24 has above 48 employees. Their age average is 28 years.
Active 24 is a Pan-European provider of hosting services that focus on small and middle enterprises. Active 24 provides them with complete and financially effective solutions for Internet, at the same time combining relevant, available and standardized products and friendly behaviour to our clients.
Active 24 was established in Oslo, Norway in 1998 as Active ISP. Since then, it has gained ground on the market by taking up the following companies: Carambole, Loopia and Millenicum in Sweden, Ladot in the Netherlands, VI in Great Britain, Globe Internet, Internet Club and CP Online in the Czech Republic and Cybernetix in Poland.
Furthermore, the company is virtually active in: Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, France, Germany, Belgium, Slovakia, Spain and Austria. ACTIVE 24 offers a wide range of its products to 15 markets in Europe. Since August 24, 2006, Active 24 has come under the Norwegian company Mamut ASA (www.mamut.com), owning 100% of the shares.
